Details

currently, the install.rdf architecture only supports one platform in an XPI. It would be great if an XPI could be created with shared objects/DLLs for multiple platforms and then install the correct one. This is possible with Mozilla using an install.js.
Severity: normal → enhancement
Note that I added a chromereg key that allows platform-specific chrome (at least with win/mac/unix granularity). This is about platform-specific components, which need a lot more granularity (OS, GTK1/2, processor, etc).
