Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enter a wrong password for a mail account 2. Check mail Actual Results: You get the message "Login to server .... failed" Expected Results: Mail should re-ask for the password.
for now, you have to delete the bogus password in password manager, then try to get mail again. (Tools->Password Manager->Manage Stored Passwords) Related: Bug 90338 *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 182362 ***
