User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a3) Gecko/20040817 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a3) Gecko/20040817 i am unable to reply to or forward mail that is forwarded to me as an attachment Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. someone forwards me message with a mail attachment 2 [review]. open up the attachment 3 [review]. all forward options are greyed out Expected Results: software should allow me to forward and/or reply to a message forwarded to me without limitation i use mozilla mail faithfully but honestly find that this is a major deterrent and challenge to using mozilla mail for communications in a business environment. it's critical to be able to share info easily and quickly. the copy/paste workaround is 'bulky' method takes longer and doesn't produce the trail that might be needed. (please note i've marked this 'critcal' in severity for the very reason that this may very well chase the user away to another email client. i apologize if this bug is due to a settings change i could make (haven't found one yet...if there is one please advise))
Not a critical bug; severity is not graded on inconvenience: http://bugzilla.mozilla.org/bug_status.html#severity This is a pretty well known problem; see the dupe and Seamonkey bug 204350. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 224967 ***
