I want to use live bookmarks for feeds that are protected by htaccess, to members of a community. In tha manager of bookmarks there is a command "Refresh live bookmark". This one should be possoble to have also at the broweser window. Then after having passed through htaccess passwors test the feed should be available. BR Olov Bergqvist
Thunderbird has this capability and pops up a login dialog. You are correct for the workaround, but it is annoying for the users to have to go to the site and log in just to have the bookmarks auto refresh ok. Whereas if it used the stored passwords in mozilla/FF, it would be (more) automatic. i.e. what if you have multiple RSS sites bookmarked that require passwords?
