User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; sk-SK; rv:1.8a4) Gecko/20040915 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040914 Firefox/0.10 Error while attempting to connect gmail.com, regardless of the proxy used. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Enter http://gmail.com 2. Error establishing an encrypted connection to www.google.com. Actual Results: Error Code: -5961 The end result same with https://web.de, however https://www.pobox.sk/ works. Squid proxy or Privoxy was used. With Mozilla it all works flawlessly.
I've realised this error was caused by Advanced -> Validation -> OSCP. However, numerical error code isn't very intuitive, right?
Original summary: Error establishing an encrypted connection to www.google.com. Error Code: -5961 The original problem is a dupe of bug 111384 (OSCP through proxy) Bug 107491 is about improving PSM error messages. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 111384 ***
