Go to apple.com, then open another tab, go to a page with a Java Applet (http://www.goes.noaa.gov/HURRLOOPS/huirloop.html), then click back to apple.com. The applet appears in that tab too!

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10 I was moving to Firefox 1.0RC1 and simply viewed a page at apple.com, opened a new tab to look at the IR Images at http://www.goes.noaa.gov/HURRLOOPS/huirloop.html which puts a Java Applet that loops ten images. I then flipped back over to apple.com tab and the Java Applet was over the page! I have OSX 10.3.3 and Java 1.4.2. I thought it was the theme, maybe, but I changed it from Noia back to default, restarted and still there. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. go to apple.com 2. open and use a new tab. 3. On the new tab, http://www.goes.noaa.gov/HURRLOOPS/huirloop.html 4. Click back on apple.com tab Actual Results: You'll see the Java Applet overlaying the apple.com page. If I have more tabs, it overlays all the tabs! Expected Results: Kept the Java Applet confined to the tab it was started on.
