Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040914 Firefox/0.10 Build Identifier: Mozilla Thunderbird 0.8 (X11/20040913) When replying to or forwarding an email, Thunderbird should update the status icon for the message by modifying the X-Mozilla-Status lines in the mail header. This happens unless you save the message as a draft at any point while composing the message, even if you do not close the message and come back to it later. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Click the Reply or Forward button 2. Click on Save (you don't need to close the message and come back to it) 3. Click on Send Actual Results: The status icon and X-Mozilla-Status headers are not updated to reflect that the message has been replied to or forwarded. Expected Results: The message status indicators should be updated. The message status should only be updated if the message is sent after being saved. It should not indicate a reply if the message has not been sent yet. Although it is a simple UI issue, I am rating this bug as normal (rather than minor or trivial) because it makes it hard to immediately tell if you replied to a message, which can be a real drawback in the business world.
