User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10 This website requires Gopika fonts, which are clearly seen on IE 5.0 and above, but when using Firefox to view this website, fonts are not displayed in correct format. Many places '?' is displayed instead of an expected letter. Using firefox, reading content of this website is terrible. This is a regional website of indian news paper, and viewed by atleast 1000+ viewers every day. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Gopika fonts on your desktop 2. View the fonts from control panel (Windows 2000). Now view this website i.e. http://gujaratsamachar.com on IE5.0 (or higher) and Netscape 7.0 web browsers. 3. View this website using Firefox 1.0 Actual Results: Many places '?' is displayed instead of an expected letter. Using firefox 1.0, reading content of this website is terrible. Expected Results: Fix the problem of Gopika fonts. I believe many other foreign culture fonts might have similar problems.
I am also facing the same problem in www.malayalamanorama.com. India's largest selling newspaper. The local language used is malayalam
