User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040914 Firefox/0.10 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040914 Firefox/0.10 The JavaScript Console has four filters--All, Errors, Warnings, and Messages--that are selectable via the toolbar. They are mutually exclusive, so when one is selected, its corresponding toolbar button should remain depressed after being clicked. This works as expected in Windows. In Linux, only the text label appears depressed (it is offset slightly lower and to the right in relation to the inactive buttons), but otherwise, there is no visible indication that the button is active. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open the JavaScript Console (Tools > JavaScript Console). 2. Click either All, Errors, Warnings, or Messages on the toolbar. 3. Actual Results: The text label appears slightly lower and to the right, but the button is not drawn in a depressed state. Expected Results: The selected button should clearly indicate that it has been pressed. Using the Firefox default theme. Also occurs using any theme that uses native appearance to draw toolbar buttons (e.g. Qute). Running GNOME 2.6 under Debian GNU/Linux, Bluecurve-classic Metacity theme for window borders and Bluecurve for GTK2. The bug occurs with every Metacity/GTK2 theme combination I've tried, so I'm taking a shot in the dark and thinking it has something to do with how -moz-appearance handles toolbar buttons.
Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050324 Firefox/1.0+ (In reply to comment #0) Status -> NEW In fact, I don't even see a change in alignment like you stated. Using GNOME with Metacity on Gentoo and default Firefox theme here.
Status: UNCONFIRMED → NEW
Ever confirmed: true
Is this still an issue with recent builds? The button's have been redone lately. This was Linux only, I presume?
