Then close Firefox first and then delete the last selcted search engine. It also occurs the same error -> no search plugin available after restarting Firefox!!! Is there any way to remove a search engine from the Firefox UI?

And what is when no search engine is available (e.g. all deleted)? How can I add an engine from the Firefox UI?
