Opening links from other applications doesn't restore minimized browser window Steps to Reproduce: 1. Start a new profile (default pref for external links is to open in most recent tab/window) 2. Start Firefox, minimize it. 3. Open a simple file, associated with Firefox Actual results: Page opened in browser window, but the window is still minimized. The application that invoked Firefox lost focus. Expected results: Restore (unminimize) Firefox window. This didn't happen before check-in for bug 172962. Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1
Same as bug 262978, since focusing a browser window will unminimize it. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 262978 ***

This doesn't happen for http:// links. Changing summary. Probably it is the problem described in bug 172962 comment 93. Sorry. I feel an urge to reopen this bug, but you are aware of that problem, so I won't do that now.
