Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041001 Firefox/0.10.1
Used Safari Bookmark Extractor to pull my bookmarks from Safari.
It worked successfully, creating aan HMTL file called MyBookmarks.html
Went in to FireFox to import the bookmarks, but it never allowed me to actually
select the file to import, it closed immediately upon hitting the "Next" button
after selecting the "From File" option.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Bookmarks > Manage Bookmarks... > File > Import
2. Select the From File option in the Import Wizard, click Next
3. Import Wizard closes without proceeding to step 2.
Expected Results:
Step 2 in the Import Wizard should allow me to select a file.
Step 3 should verify if the file is usable...
- if not, prompt the user with an error message and a request for an appropriate
file, perhaps suggesting what extensions would suffice
- if so, import the bookmarks from the file and prompt the user with a message
saying the import is complete, and that the user may need to organize their
newly imported bookmarks.
