As per <pavlov@netscape.com>s observations: during a page load, we're spending a
lot of time in |nsString|s memory management code. Could custom allocators or
other tricks help? Investigation is needed. <waterson@netscape.com> will get
some Quantify data and append it to this bug. Then we'll try some experiments.
