(In reply to comment #2) yes, reading trough IMAP server. i may add that this may also somehow related to the way the mail gets written out by the originating server: as i said, there is an automicaly added disclaimer (footer) as *plain text* whereas the mail body is *html-formated*.

The mail program from the suite is listed as "MailNews" in the Product dropdown. At any rate, this is a dupe. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 246415 ***
