User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040804 Firefox/0.9.3
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7) Gecko/20040804 Firefox/0.9.3
If you go to the web page
http://www.kitty-yo.net/index2.php
Firefox will crash.
There's nothing specific action need to reproduce this.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to the website http://www.kitty-yo.net/index2.php
2. Firefox will now crash.
3. If you open this URL with the Konqueror Browser (Linux), not the whole
browser but the plugin (libflashplayer.so) will crash.
Actual Results:
Firefox crashes. All opened windows and tabs will be closed!
Expected Results:
Firefox should let only crash the plugins, not itself when a plugin has an error.
The error seems to be in the libflashplayer.so, so the main error is on the side
of Macromedia - but Firefox should not crash if a plugin does...
I tried to reproduce this bug in the Firefox running on Windows, but there the
crash didn't happen - perhaps because I'm using the 7th version of the flash
plugin there and only the 6th version on my Linux computer, I will soon install
the newest version of the flash player to see if the problem is there also.
But all in all Firefox shouldn't crash if any plugin has an error.

Did you try it with FF1.0RC1 ?

It happens the same to me but with the Java plug-in. All the instances of FF are
shut down when an error in the plug-in. FF should not crash because of a plug-in
malfunction.
I use a recent build of FF for Windows.
