I'm about 2/3 of the way thru making this happen - diff and views are left along with a pass thru to make sure I haven't missed anything. Basically I'm adding svn* versions of all of the cvs* files and tweaking the global routines to not be cvs centric. My local testing is for svn only - not even considering being able to mix cvs and svn yet. I'm posting this comment to see if anyone else is still interested in this
I'm still looking for such a beast ;-)

How do tools like ViewVC (which supports both CVS and Subversion) compare to Bonsai? Are there features that are just Bonsai-specific that ViewVC doesn't have?

bear, you should probably attach your patch here so that others can continue the work on it if they like...

at the urging of timely I have created a branch to start putting the changes I've made so others can help test and work on the code. I will post here when I do the initial commit (sometime this weekend) BONSAI_SVN_SUPPORT_20060804_BRANCH
