User-Agent: Mozilla/4.0 (compatible; MSIE 6.0; Windows NT 5.1; iOpus-I-M; SV1; .NET CLR 1.0.3705; .NET CLR 1.1.4322) Build Identifier: Mozilla Firefox 1.0 RC2 When playing Java games at pogo.com, the browser frequently crashes with "Unahndled exception" errors. Can play games with no trouble using Opera. Reproducible: Sometimes Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to pogo.com and select Euchre. 2. Select a Euchre lounge. 3. Join a Euchre table. Actual Results: Firefox crashed with an "Unhandled exception". Another message popped up with the error: The instruction at "0x5e5f0000" referenced memory at "0x5e5f0000". The memory could not be "read". Expected Results: Allowed me to play Euchre, LOL.
which Java plugin do you use (see "about:plugins" [as URL] ) ? Do you have a Talkback ID from that crash ?
There are many Java plugins listed: File name: NPOJI610.dll Java Plug-in 1.5.0 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper) File name: NPJava32.dll Java Plug-in 1.5.0 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper) File name: NPJPI150.dll Java Plug-in 1.5.0 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper) File name: NPJava13.dll Java Plug-in 1.5.0 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper) File name: NPJava14.dll Java Plug-in 1.5.0 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper) File name: NPJava11.dll Java Plug-in 1.5.0 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper) File name: NPJava12.dll Java Plug-in 1.5.0 for Netscape Navigator (DLL Helper) Sorry, I didn't remember to keep the Talkback ID, although one was submitted.
hmm, I found several (400) crashs on talkback with URL pogo.com with so many stack signatures. But the one belonging to this bug should be: http://talkback-public.mozilla.org/talkback/fastfind.jsp?search=2&type=iid&id=1727675
That appears to be the correct talkback. However, I am running Windows XP SP2, not NT 5.1, as is being reported both here in Bugzilla and in the Talkback.
el_monty: open a "DOS" Window an type "ver". You Are using NT5.1... Can you please run "talkback.exe" in your Firefox directory to give us a ID ? (Because there are many different crashers on thge same URl and we are sure that you have the latest Java)
Yes, that's it. BTW, talkback.exe is in the components folder. The related talkback IDs are TB1727675Z and TB1730159Z.
TB1730159Z seems to be usefull, confirming based on the stack
