User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 When there is a "Page Load error" for e.g. the site cannot be reached "Connection Failure Error" or the url cannot be resolved "Address Not Found Error" the back button on the toolbar and back link on the right-click context menu are greyed out. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open a new firefox window or even just a new tab 2. Go to a valid site, e.g. http://news.bbc.co.uk 3. After the page is loaded, enter an invalid URL, for e.g. http://bugzilla.mozilla.orgs 4. Try to go back to the previous page (BBC) Actual Results: An "Address Not Found Error" page is displayed showing "bugzilla.mozilla.orgs could not be found. Please check the name and try again etc.." with the title "Page load error" The back button on the main toolbar is greyed out. Right-clicking on the page produces a context-menu with "Back" greyed out. Expected Results: They back button on the main toolbar and the back link on the right-click context menu should be enabled. If you repeat the duplication steps and for step 3. instead of an invalid URL enter a valid URL (can be resolved) that can't be reached (e.g. localhost where you don't have a local webserver), you get a page titled "Page load error" with "Connection Failure Error etc.. as the contents" and the back button is greyed out. The "Page load error" page that's displayed has a "Try again" link at the bottom. If that link is clicked, the back button on the main toolbar and the right-click context menu are now enabled. There seem to be quite a few bugs around Back button not working, but I couldn't find any for this specific scenario.
