When visiting a website with Mozilla where the password manager would automatically prompt to ask what username to use, Firefox will instead sit idle. Double-clicking the username field DOES NOT produce a drop-down menu. However, if the username is manually entered, tabbing to the password field will automatically fill in the correct password. This appears to be in part due to the "wallet.crypto.autocompleteoverride" preference existing in Mozilla which Firefox does not honor. However, I have also had this problem with https://global1.onlinebank.com/cgi-forte/fortecgi.exe/frte_cs0?BankTag=612coastal&TemplateName=Login.htm&ServiceName=webteller which does NOT use the autocomplete="off" attribute. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Use Mozilla to browse to a website that normally requests autocomplete be off, and have the "wallet.crypto.autocompleteoverride" option set to true. 2. Enter a test username and password and login. Tell Mozilla to save the password info. 3. Repeat the above with a second user/pass combo. 4. Install Firefox (or delete profiles and restart Firefox). Import password settings from Mozilla. 5. Attempt to access website as before with Firefox Actual Results: No pick-list appeared for username field. Had to manually enter username to get password field to populate. Expected Results: Double-clicking username field should have given a pick-list for the username to login with, and auto-filled both the username and password.

This bug is actually due to the difference in behavior between Firefox and Mozilla regarding the "autofill=off" tag used in some webpages. Mozilla has a hidden preference that can disable obeyance to the tag. Firefox does not. So for users of Mozilla who had "autofill=off" support disabled, there may be passwords saved which will no longer function under Firefox. Not a bug as this is by design. However, Firefox never notifies the end-user of this behavior when importing or installing. This bug can be closed, though.
