Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Label a message as 'Todo' 2. Select a 'Todo' from View drop down list Actual Results: All the mails are being shown, no sorting whatsoever. Only selecting a 'Recent Mail' and 'People I Know' options produce a list of appropriate messages. Expected Results: Thunderbird 0.9 sorted out only previously labeled messages excluding everything else.

(In reply to comment #2) > same problem here. Thunderbird 1.0 on MacOSX 10.3.7. > Also the same behavior happens with a saved search. Tried on IMAP inbox (if can > help). sorry. End of job time. My statement was not correct. I obtain an _empty_ list labelling an then selecting an appropriate view, or creating a saved search for that label. So it's not the same, but probably is related. Also the same problem happens with the "has attachments" and "not junk". It seems to work with "unread" and "recent mail". However, if i choose first "recent mail" and then "Important", i obtain the same list as "recent mail", like i've never changed the view. Again, selecting "All" and then "important" i obtain an empty list. How weird...
This happens only on IMAP folders. For local folders filtering works correctly. With rule that should show only messages not labelled by certain label all messages disappear when using the filter.
This may be a dupe of bug 267680.

The behaviour Stefano described is almost certainly bug 267680. Ain, can you check whether what you describe in the original report is still present and is not the same thing as bug 267680?

Ain, can you > check whether what you describe in the original report is still present and is > not the same thing as bug 267680? It was most certainly the same bug as 267680, my apologies for the dupe. I couldn't spot the bug on the latest trunk 1.6a1 20050920. Everything works as expected. Thanks.
