When the option "Load images" is turned off, and the alt text is displayed in
place of all images, this alt text should behave as if it were normal text; in
particular, it should be possible to select (and copy & paste) it or parts of it.

Reporter: Can you provide the URL of a site which illustrates the problem?
Oh, sorry. I came across the problem when viewing my e-mail inbox on www.gmx.de.
Naturally, I can't give you a direct URL to that ;-)

but if it's a general problem, then you should be able to provide a test case on
another web page as well, right?

I can confirm this bug in Firefox 1.0 but it appears to have been fixed in the
later build:
Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.8a6) Gecko/20041214
Firefox/1.0+

Confirmed, but not giving a plan of what should be done yet. Would like to hear
