User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/0.10.1 StumbleUpon/1.998 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/0.10.1 StumbleUpon/1.998 My Junk mail folder has perpetually has 1 unread item (i.e. the folder's name is in bold, and is followed by the number "1" in parenthesis). When I open this folder, I see that there is 1 unread mail item, with no subject or sender, and whose date is 31/12/1969 7:00PM (I wasn't born at that time) and whose size is 1KB. When I click on it, the preview window remains blank, the date and size information becomes non-bold and the green unread dot shrinks and becomes grey (implying that the item is now marked as read), but the folder is still in bold and has the (1) next to it. If I delete it, either by pressing the DEL key on my keyboard, or clicking the "delete" button with my mouse, the item disapears from view, but the folder still indicates there's 1 unread message. If I navigate to a different folder and back, I see this "ghost e-mail" again. Reproducible: Didn't try Steps to Reproduce:
