When using View->Text Size->Decrease Size or CTRL+Minus on a webpage several
times (9 times on mozilla.org), the text "resets" itself to a larger text size
(not the default text size, usually 1 or 2 points above.) Pressing CTRL+0 or
View->Text Size->Normal resets the page to normality.
Also, when the text size resets itself after "too many" zoom outs, it tends to
delete small page layout elements. See http://google.com (9 or 10 zoom outs).
After 11 zoom outs, the "New" next to "Groups" disappears, and the navigation
text is no longer properly aligned.
Also, while I was testing this bug, I found that if you do this "zoom trick" in
a tab and don't reset the page (by hitting CTRL+0), and then you go to another
page, the zoom is not reset. This may be because zoom is not supposed to be
reset when browsing to a new page in a tab, I'm not sure.
Works on Firefox 1.0 and 0.9.3, at the very least.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to a website.
2. Zoom out several times (usually around 9-12 times.)
Actual Results:
Text resets to a slightly large font size, occasionally removes page elements.
Expected Results:
Zooms should stop at a certain point, and only allow a return to normal size or
increase in font size.
