User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041020 Galeon/1.3.19 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20041020 Galeon/1.3.19 Though I've seen a lot of commenting about the placement of the yellow background in the address bar on secure sites may or may not be a good idea, I didn't see anyone commenting about my specific issue, so I'm opening a new bug. I use a light-on-dark them in my OS (primarily linux), and my near-white foreground color is almost unreadable against the yellow background. When you change the background color to something hard-coded, *PLEASE* also change the foreground color -- do not just assume that everyone uses black text. This is present in both firefox and galeon on my system (I just happen to be using galeon at the moment, so that's why it shows up in my user agent string). I'm off to fix my userContent.css file, as I've read that it will let me change the color, but that should by no means excuse the lack of an about:config option for the color, or the fact that no one bothered to set the foreground color to match. Reproducible: Always
make that userChrome.css, and though it works for firefox, it doesn't help galeon.
