Moving focus from subject line to message bod leaves a blinking caret in the subject line. To reproduce: 1. Open MailNews 2. New Msg 3. Click in subject line 4. Hit TAB Actual result: caret in subject line and mail body, body editor has focus Expected result: no caret in subject line Linux build 2000.02.15.10 This may be a dup of 22888, but that was marked fixed, and saari said there mail would be partially responsible for these focus bugs. CC: saari; please take this from ducarroz if it's yours.

It seems tabbing for focus is a slightly different beast these days, so I'll take a look at this.

Now that bug #29176 has been implemented to where Enter takes you from subject line to body, this problem occurs when using Enter.

Mass moving to M16 to get these off the M15 radar. Please let me know if this is really an M15 stopper.
