User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.5) Gecko/20041107 Firefox/1.0 If "open links from other applications in" is set to "a new window," the most recently active window will be restored to full size (if it was minimized). This is undesirable. It should not adjust windows that are already open in any way. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Open any number of firefox windows (set to whatever webpages you desire). 2. Minimize a window in such a way as to make sure no other firefox window activates. The easiest way to do this is to minimize all firefox windows - then the last one minimized was the most recently active window. However, it still will restore a minimized window if other windows are open as long as the minimized window was the most recently active one. 3. Then click on a link in some other program (e.g. gaim). Actual Results: The most recently active (minimized) window will restore before the new window is opened. Expected Results: A new window should have opened. No other window should have been restored from a minimized state.
Works for me, just opened a url from a window in the IRC client mIRC, and it opened in a new window when the option the reporter mentions is set.
