Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.8a6) Gecko/20050111
If a local .swf file is opened with mozilla, the .swf is only displayed if an
URL containing a .swf has been opened before.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Make sure the flash (application/x-shockwave-flash) plugin npswf32.dll is
installed.
2. Close and Reopen Mozilla Browser
3. File|Open File - select some local .swf file
4. Cancel dialog
5. Open an URL containing an embedded flash (e.g. http://www.macromedia.com/)
6. Repeat step 3
Actual Results:
After Step 3, the "Opening ..." dialog appears: 'The file "....swf" is of type
application/x-shockwave-flash ... and Mozilla does not know how to handle this
file type....'
After Step 6, the swf is shown using the plugin.
Expected Results:
Flash content should be shown after step 3.
Problem may also appear with other plugins, not tested yet, sry ...
Workaround: See step 6;-)
