User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050320 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win95; en-US; rv:1.8b2) Gecko/20050320 On certain pages, when clicking the Back button and moving the mouse to the page view, the Back button stays highlighted. A new profile doesn't solve the problem. I can reproduce it flawlessly on the MozillaZine Forums. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Disable the Personal Toolbar. (this may not be necessary) 2. Go to the MozillaZine Forums. 3. Enter a forum. Say, Seamonkey General. 4. Click the Back button. 5. Move the mouse cursor to the page view while the browser loads the previous page. Actual Results: The Back button stays highlighted. Expected Results: The Back button would have returned to its original state.

This is probably a fall-out from Bug 125386 (also see Bug 283757), regression timeframe matches (02-23 is ok, 02-24 isn't).

Some additional comments which I forgot to enter yesterday, but did notice: -Moving the mouse back on one of the two buttons and away restores its normal highlight functioning. -Strangely, moving the mouse to far left side of the screen restores the functioning as well. -When going back or forward until you can't anymore, the functioning is also restored, as long as you aren't on one of those pages which trigger the bug.

This is fixed by the patch in Bug 284664 (i tested it), marking dep
Depends on: 284664
The issue still existed in the build of 22 March. I'm now using 25 March's build, and the issue seems to be fixed. :) Can I mark the bug as fixed, then? I seem to have the option to do it, unlike in other bugs, but I'm afraid of doing something I'm not allowed again.

(In reply to comment #4) > The issue still existed in the build of 22 March. I'm now using 25 March's > build, and the issue seems to be fixed. :) Unlikey somehow, since the fix for Bug 284664 wasn't checked in yet? Maybe another patch fixed this bug here...
You're right. I just saw it again, though it didn't happen at MozillaZine anymore. Additionally, the "close" (x) button on the tab bar displays the same behavior.
