RESOLVED DUPLICATE of bug 78510

People

Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1
Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.6) Gecko/20050223 Firefox/1.0.1

When reading mailing list archives, I frequently look at the threaded
display of the messages in the list, then click "Open Link in New Tab".
I would like to see the link change colour upon this action, so that
when coming back to the page, the link shows a "visited".

More general, would it be possible to notify open pages the redraw links
as they are being viewed in other tabs?

Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. http://www.uwsg.indiana.edu/hypermail/linux/kernel/0503.2/index.html
2. right-click link, "Open Link in New Tab"
3. CTRL+TAB

Actual Results:
Nothing has changed on page 1

Expected Results:
Link should now be purple instead of blue.
(workaround: CTRL+R)
