They are four times higher than they need to be to display the name, which is all that is needed in the list. This causes a lot of unnecessary scrolling. Code from Caio Chassot's Slim Extension List (http://v2studio.com/k/moz/). There is one line of text per extension (plus some space avove and below) unless it's selected, toBeInstalled or toBeUninstalled.

This isn't something that I would consider a win, since it makes selecting each extension necessary to read the descriptions. It only really helps if you're running with a lot of extensions, which most users do not do. This would make a good userChrome hack, but not by default.
