Hiya,
Using Jigs@w Puzzle Promo Creator (from www.tibosoftware.com) I have a
couple of puzzles on my family website (www.our-family.co.uk) in the
games section.
When you click on one of the puzzles viewing the website with IE you
are given the option to run from current location or save them,
however when trying to do the same using Firefox you are only given
the option to save the .exe file and I don't want people to be able to
do this, I want them to run the puzzles from the original location.
Any ideas on how to get things working correctly when using Firefox??
Thanks,
Cathy
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. Go to www.our-family.co.uk
2. Click on the 'games & fun stuff' section on the left of the page
3. Click on the 'click here' link to run one of the two puzzles.
Actual Results:
You are only given the option to save to disk, you are not given the option to
run. The necessary software is installed on the server and this works fine when
accessing the page using IE.
Expected Results:
You are given the option to run and save. When you click run it opens the puzzle
in a new window and the user can try to solve the puzzle.
The Our Family website is still under development. I am using Mambo as the CMS
and have tested the site on a PC running Windows ME and IE AND Firefox and on a
PC running Windows XP and IE AND Firefox. With IE it works fine, but with
Firefox you get the error every time.
