User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; rv:1.7.3) Gecko/20040913 Firefox/0.10
Build Identifier: thunderbrid version 1.0.2 (20050317)

I'm using imap-Server of 1und1.de, who uses authentication. Normally the coopy
to sent-Folder works. But sometimes, I think if the 1und1.de-server is busy, the
process copy to sent becomes an error. I must restart thunderbird.
I think, if thunderbird retries the copy to send -process, it must be
authenticate once again.

Reproducible: Sometimes
Hello,

I'm using Thunderbird 1.0.2 (downloaded from mozilla.org) on Windows XP (with
SP2 installed).

"Sometimes" after sending a message I get a message stating, "There was an error
copying the message to the Sent folder. Retry?". I can retry as often as I want,
it will not work.

Sometimes I restart Thunderbird and then it works, sometimes it doesn't. Errors
is totally unexpected.

Also, from what I noticed. It only happens with the server where I have multiple
IMAP accounts on. Five all together are set up in Thunderbird.

I have another email address which is on another (IMAP) server (not just by
name, but also physically) and I have not noticed this error with this address.
But since sending mails always works with webmail (Squirrelmail), I don't think
it's the issue of the server though. I guess it's the client.

Happy to provide more feedback if you tell me what you need. :)

Thanks!
Same problem on same mailserver. Their support team today responded with link to:
