It is possible to implement a textfield with a popup or a combo box with DHTML & CSS. These should be made accessible with the new DHTML accessibility techniques. A good example of what could be made accessible with this is Google Suggest: http://www.google.com/webhp?complete=1&hl=en

Surkov, one would use ARIA. In the past we used to just call ARIA "DHTML accessibility". Simon was working on this.

Combo box already works. Autocomplete is a different bug.

No idea what Aaron wanted to dupe this bug to, but it certainly wasn't "Unable to send an encrypted message to myself, via To:, CC:, or Bcc:."

I do believe this the autocomplete is dealt with bug 559749.
