User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Win98; en-US; rv:1.7.7) Gecko/20050414 When closing mozilla, an optional message pops up warning that xx tabs are open and asks if user intended on closing all and exiting. My idea would be to add another button option for "Store list of open tabs and exit" This would allow for closing mozilla for a reboot or for some other reason, and then being able to return and quickly resume where one left off by having an option at startup to 'restore list previously active tabs?" [y/n] This option could also be added to the toolbar menu so that if the browser was opened to another window/tab, user could click a menu item to "reopen prior stored list of tabs" Reproducible: Always feature suggestion, not a bug report.
Duplicate of bug 63094 (or bug 36810)?
yes those and 93789 and 19454 seem to be related. I did a search but came up empty. I guess i used different key words :\ the fact that those ideas have been floating for upto 6 years saddens me as to the outlook for implemetation anytime soon. But there does seem to be a consensus of the usefulness of the concept. I'm happy for that and hopeful.
