User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.8) Gecko/20050511 Firefox/1.0.4 at the given pbs.org url, if you click any of the movie links labeled "quicktime" the poppup window for the video appears and firefox crashes after it loads quicktime. i've tested firefox 1.0.3 and 1.0.4 with quicktime 6.5 and 6.5.2 and all combinations crash. if quicktime is not installed, the page does not crash. i tested this in IE and it crashes also, so it's undoubtedly a problem with quicktime and the page/video, however i assume it should be possible to let quicktime crash w/o bringing down the entire browser. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1.visit the page 2.click a link labeled "quicktime" 3.firefox crashes Actual Results: firefox crashed Expected Results: not crashed

The bug itself is invalid (caused by quicktime). > i assume it should be >possible to let quicktime crash w/o bringing down the entire browser That would be an enhancement request and it's a dupe. *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 156493 ***
