(Whiteboard: [PDT+] w/b minus for 03/03 - fix in hand)

Using the 2/28 build on Windows NT 1. Open prefs dialog 2. Look in top level Mail & Newsgroups panel 3. Set "Display plain text messages" to fixed width font 4. Click ok 5. Open prefs dialog again Expected: fixed width font to be selected Actual: variable width font is selected
Nominate for beta1 since this makes plain text messages look like HTML messages, which makes the app look broken. It's a little on the borderline for beta1, IMO.

I've got a couple pref not sticking bugs. I think they are all due to our pref xul being out of date, and not fixed to work with the new pref window architecture. I'll go work on squashing them now. it would be good to have them fixed for beta, and they should be low risk changes.

Joining cc list, hoping that PDT team will let Seth check in since it's really confusing to see all those prefs that don't work.

Putting on PDT+ radar for beta1. But will move to PDT- if not fixed by 03/03 or regression occurs.

fenella, can you verify? Thanks. Verify for setting to fixed width and also for setting back to variable width.
