i guess bookmarks in firefox is just like 'Favorites' in IE. i can put the
frequently visited sites as bookmarks and i give it a name. for example i can
create a bookmark for "http://beelinebus.westchestergov.com/timetables.htm" and
call it as 'Bus timetable'. in IE, in the adress-location bar if i start
typing "Bus " then IE automatically shows me "Bus timetable" and if i choose
it, it will display the bookmarked site...But in firefox, currently the
address bar only auto-cmpletes previously seen sites but NOT the bookmarks..Its
really very convineint if autocomplete on location bar also brings up bookmark
names. Im not sure if this is a bug or enhancement! i hope firefox gives me
this feature :-)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. enter a fresh bookmark . lets give it a name 'test bookmark'
2. go to the address bar and type 'test'
Actual Results:
firefox does not help auto-complete 'test' into 'test bookmark' ( IE does
this)
Expected Results:
firefox can help me auto-complete 'test' into 'test bookmark'

ur right, looks like this is an OLD cry-baby left unattended.
Really not sure why the community has left this one un-fixed for so long.
im trying to getaway from MSIE onto firefox; but im missing this autocompletion
of bookmarks badly. 80% of my daily web work is on bookmarked sites and auto
completion can help a lot. :-(
:-( :-( :-( :-(
