The server side will soon support the capability to update an app along the branch it came from.

AUS should no longer be updating branches to trunk.

This is fixed on Deer Park, but isn't working on the Thunderbird mozilla1.8 branch. Is there a Thunderbird specific version of this bug?

The "fix" here was to not update a branch build to a trunk build. Are you saying that a Thunderbird branch build gets updated to a Thunderbird trunk build? Please confirm or deny this explicitly. If you're referring to not seeing updates for Thunderbird on the branch, sit tight. It'll be configured soon.

My mistake. :-[ I was referring to the Thunderbird branch builds not detecting updates. I'll search for the bug.
