Details

User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.0; en-US; rv:1.7.10) Gecko/20050716 Firefox/1.0.6 I have Thunderbird with calendar-extension installed and Sunbird in my system. When I try to use the calendar-extension from Thunderbird, it launches its own version of calendar application instead of accessing my Sunbird application. This doesn't help me access the tasks, alarms and events I created in the Sunbird application. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Install Thunderbird. 2. Install Sunbird. Launch Sunbird to create task, alarm or/and event entries from Sunbird. 3. Download calendar-extension for thunderbird. Launch Thunderbird to install the extension. Restart Thunderbird to finalize installation of the extension. 4. Customize Thunderbird toolbar to include Calendar button/link. 5. Click on the Calendar button and a new calendar application will launch. 6. Check for entries you made in Sunbird application. Nada. It's like there was a clean installation of a calendar application. Actual Results: Sunbird and calendar-extension for Thunderbird are not fully integrated to recognize each other. It is useless to install calendar-extension on Thunderbird if you already have Sunbird even if you want to access the calendar application from the mail client Expected Results: The calendar extension should in a way have access to Sunbird or just the entries made in it. Sunbird and calendar, if possible, should share the same data resource.
