Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Create the boolean entry config.trim_on_minimize and set it to true. 2. Open a few webpages in SeaMonkey. 3. Watch actual memory usage in task manager. 4. Minimize all SeaMonkey windows. 5. Watch memory usage again. Actual Results: The physical memory usage of SeaMonkey is the same as before minimizing all windows. Expected Results: Memory usage should significantly drop.

WFM with SeaMonkey 1.0b Windows release on Win2k. Make sure you differ between conventional and virtual memory, as only conventional memory usage will drop!

I still have the problem with latest SeaMonkey 1.0b branch nightlies. Conventional memory only drops after minimizing the console window (-console starting option), indepentently of the status of the other windows. But without -console there's no way to have any change in conventional memory. Perhaps it's some issue with Windows XP Home SP2, since Karsten isn't seeing it for Win2k?
