Then, while browsing some pages (best example is customized google page while logged in : www.google.com/ig), they don't appear, white & blank screen and the rotating loading icon stops. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce: 1. Go to about:config 2. enter filter 'cache' 3. click on browser.cache.memory.enable to disable it 4. Go to www.google.com/ig 5. sign in Actual Results: page remains blank Expected Results: display customized google page, as while cache is enable google.com/ig is an example, bug happens with some other pages

What happens in FF 1.5b1? If this is a caching issue, I'd assume it also affects Firefox.

Who should confirm this bug ? I did not try Firefox 1.5+, I'll try !

Update : bug is reproducible using Firefox 1.5b1/Mac OS X Tiger using the same steps, should it be transfered to Firefox ?

Browser fails to load homepage and other pages and comes up with a blank screen on Windows XP Home Ed.Browser does not take up all CPU usage.Problem started after installing a Mozilla Firefox update, and has not worked since update was installed.This problem is happening with Mozilla Firefox 1.0.7.Browser closes without a problem, it just doesnt load any webpage you go to.I hope to find a fix for this problem soon.after reloading page still loads a blank screeen.

I believe this is a dup of bug #287501 -- I just updated 287501 to say it is happening on the MacOSX platform as well, ATM I am using Camino nightly builds, but it has been going on for over a year IIRC, on Firefox and older Mozilla flavors of the browser.
