User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050920 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (X11; U; Linux i686; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050920 OK we experience this problem everyday while browsing. Some links open in the "same window" whereas some in "new window". Opening in new window is annoying many times. My suggestion: When the mouse pointer moves over any links that "open in a new window" then follow any of these two ideas to tell user before he/she clicks it: 1. You can change the link highlight colour to something different 2. You can make a small "tool tip" to indicate that this link is new window opener If you did any clarification I am ready to help - or test builds. Reproducible: Always
