This happens sometimes. in general, this option is always automatically started when you type outside any specific text field, like the one I'm typing in right now, good thing it's not looking for this whole text right now... If Find starts when a text field has focus and you type normal text, it's a bug, not intended behavior. Please retest with a branch nightly, because several bugs with this symptom have been fixed recently (bug 312227, bug 307375). *** This bug has been marked as a duplicate of 307375 ***
