User-Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 Build Identifier: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows; U; Windows NT 5.1; en-US; rv:1.7.12) Gecko/20050915 Firefox/1.0.7 As a System Administrator, I have gotten many shops to standardize on Firefox as the default browsers (justification in TCO due to spyware/virus/foistware in pre-WinXP-SP2 operating system). I would like to automate installations upon log-on for ALL dekstops through Group Policy Object facility within Active Directory environment, but I cannot do this with Firefox, as it is packaged as an .EXE file. Unfortunately in order to harness this level of automation, the software must be packaged as an .MSI file. If we could get an MSI version of Firefox, then it can be rolled out to all desktops within an Active Directory infrastructure. Imagine, Firefox being installed on thousands of desktops for corporations like Citicorp that don't use IE for security reasons. Reproducible: Always Steps to Reproduce:
