This is a spinoff from Bugzilla Bug 311256 "Ghost" notification image on new mail arrival.

Please see that bug for symptoms, screen shots, etc. If you want those here, I will do it, just let me know.



Reproducible: Always

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Receive new message.
2. Notifier appears as a "ghost image".
3. 

Actual Results:  
Ghost image and a second Thunderbird object in Taskbar.

Expected Results:  
"solid" image.

Worcester12345, the only "bug" here is that Winstripe /might/ break stuff in 1.5, and this is an UMO problem. Mozilla does not maintain the Winstripe theme that we're dealing with there.

If you want to do something about this, please contact the author of the theme like Steffen suggested.
