Details

As of today, it is complicated to edit the trust of a certificate. Obviously, you want to inspect a certificate, before you grant trust to it. As of today, you have to leave the "view certificate" dialog and enter the separate "edit trust" dialog. In addition, editing trust is possible from within certificate manager only, but not when displaying a certificate in other contexts. This bug suggests to add an "edit trust" button to the certificate viewer window. This could eliminate the need for the "edit trust" button in certificate manager.
