another bug noticed with this behaviour! 1. deleting multiple messages leads to ghost threads! 2. when i try to delete a ghost message, other messages are removed from the search result in the message list pane. luckily, these message are only removed from the result and not from the imap server!

I thought this bug had been fixed long ago but has reappeared in my 6.0.2. Compacting files and new profile have not fixed this problem. I still have one 1/1/70 00:00 constantly reappearing (in my Junk folder).
