This bug depends on the landing of NSS 3.11 and the new backend functionality provided with bug 316710.

The attached patch needs some work, though. We need to make sure we don't introduce leaks where we use PK11_GetFirstSafe in existing code. See the comment contained in the patch for more information.
please change the UUID when changing interfaces, so that code compiled for the old version doesn't have to crash when it encounters the new one.
