I installed Firefox v.1.5, and found that all my search engines had disappeared in the new version. Only the default engines were present. So I copied the search plugins from Firefox old.app/Contents/MacOS/searchplugins into the new firefox searchplugins folder and they all worked fine. Maybe my renaming of the old app caused a problem? But everything transferred beautifully (bookmarks etc). I'm using a Mac G4 400MHz running OS X (10.4.3) Reproducible: Didn't try
