The anchor N on the left side <a id="Index_N" href="Index_N.html">N</a>
does not receive focus after click on the link N from the top line
<a href="#Index_N">N</a>
It did in Fx 1.0.7.
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
0. Load http://free.pages.at/staudinger/Regest/Indices/Index.html
1. Click the link "N" from the top line: left side anchor "N" does
not get focus - false.
2. By pressing the tab-key left side anchor "O" gets focus - correct.

I see this too, using Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8) Gecko/20051224 Firefox/1.5.

passes: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041010 Firefox/0.9.1+
fails: Mozilla/5.0 (Macintosh; U; PPC Mac OS X Mach-O; en-US; rv:1.8a5) Gecko/20041029 Firefox/0.9.1+
I can't get a smaller regression window easily because there's a large gap in http://archive.mozilla.org/pub/firefox/nightly/.
Aaron, could this regression be due to the change from bug 258514?

Dupe of bug #308064?
Firefox: 45.0.1, Build ID: 20160315153207
User Agent: Mozilla/5.0 (Windows NT 6.1; WOW64; rv:45.0) Gecko/20100101 Firefox/45.0
Hi,
I have tested this issue on the latest Firefox (45.0.1) release, latest Nightly (48.0a1 Build ID: 20160328030215) build and it is still reproducible. I have tested this using the provided test case from comment 2. After I have pressed the first link, the "target" link does not get focus.
Thanks,
Cosmin.
